Water Rescue form Area Councilor

Kamwala ward 5 Councillor Mainda Simataa has donated a 10,000-liter water tank to Kamwala Primary School as it was on the verge of a water crisis.

According to Simataa, the school had been struggling since February when its 5,000-liter tank burst and a temporary 2,000-liter replacement couldn’t meet the needs of its 2,867 pupils.

And Kamwala Primary School Head Teacher Naomi Zulu expressed her gratitude over the swift response by the area councilor.

Simataa also provided cases of sanitary pads and school uniforms for the most vulnerable students.

He emphasized his commitment to responding to calls for help, especially when it affects the health and well-being of learners.
