The Online Taxi Drivers Association of Zambia (OTDAZ) is urging regulatory bodies to make GPS trackers mandatory for all online taxi operators. According to Association Spokesperson Elias Mwansa, this would facilitate smoother investigations in cases of incidents.
Mwansa points out the importance of regulating GPS tracker installation to ensure compliance. He stresses the need to enforce pricing laws, which would require all online operators to install GPS trackers.
Mwansa has further appealed for the maintenance of the pricing system to ensure fair operations.
