President Hakainde Hichilema has relieved Zambia Army Commander Sitali Dennis Alibuzwi of his duties.
President Hichilema promoted Major General Geoffrey Zyeele to the rank of Lieutenant General and consequently appointed him as Zambia Army Commander.
Lieutenant General Zyeele served as Deputy Army Commander before his appointment.
